Police in Niagara have seized over $58,000 of what they are calling, powerful prescription medication, after an investigation into the sale of drugs out of a Barbican Trail home in St. Catharines.
Police say they moved in after observing a suspect allegedly making a drug deal on Carriage Road.
Officers then searched the Barbican Trail home where they arrested two women in the driveway.
Inside the home, police seized a very large amount of oxycodone, hydromorphone, codeine and fentanyl.
76 year old Joseph Ishkhanian and 26 year old Whitley Sacco are both facing trafficking charges.
36-year-old Brooke Bridgman is charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance.
