The OPP have laid almost 6,050 charges as part of a week-long traffic safety blitz.
Speeding was the most common offence among non-commercial drivers on OPP patrolled roadways, with 3,687 charges laid.
By contrast, 145 commercial drivers were charged with speeding.
Commercial drivers also faced 110 document-related offences, 104 moving violations, and 19 vehicles were taken off the road.
The OPP laid 251 seat belt charges against non-commercial drivers, 112 distracted driving charges, and 85 impaired driving charges.
