78 yr old retired St.Catharines truck driver will be able to replace his van and get a new AC unit

Charles Stead of St.Catharines bought a lotto ticket on Bunting Road and will now be able to replace his 20 year old van.

Stead has an extra $118,115 after winning the July 6th Lotto 6/49 draw.

He also bought a combination play so that brought his total winnings to $121,158.

A regular lottery player, Stead typically checks his tickets every Sunday.

This isn’t his first lottery win.

He once won just under $10,000 as well as various LOTTO 6/49, ONTARIO 49, LOTTARIO and INSTANT CROSSWORD prizes.

The 78-year-old retired trucker plans to spend his money replacing his 20-year-old van and buying a new air conditioning unit.

The rest will go into savings.

The winning ticket was purchased at Avondale on Bunting Road in St Catharines.
