A 21 year old Ajax man has been arrested in Niagara Falls on drug charges.
On Thursday April 27th, the Niagara Regional Police Service's Street Crime Unit in Niagara Falls, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a Frederica Street residence in Niagara Falls.
As a result, Kwame Asare Boateng from Ajax was arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000.
Detectives located in total 79 grams of cocaine with a street value of $7,900 and a sum of cash in excess of $5,000.
Some of the drugs were located in the vehicle of the suspect and the remaining drugs were discovered concealed on the suspect.
A bail hearing will be held today.
