The OPP say five people died over the Canada Day long weekend due to collisions on provincially patrolled roads.
They say two of those killed were motorcycle drivers.
So far this year, 113 people have died on roads patrolled by provincial police, with speed identified as the top cause of fatal crashes.
The weekend saw O-P-P cracking down on speeders and aggressive drivers and more than 5,800 speeding charges laid across the province.
