The last long weekend of the summer is here and there are plenty of fun family events.
The Niagara Greek Festival kicks off this afternoon at 4 p.m. at St. Katharine Greek Orthodox Church on Niagara Street.
The three day celebration of Greek culture features traditional dancing, music, and food.
Admission is free, but donations to Community Care will be gratefully accepted.
The festival opens at noon Saturday, Sunday and holiday Monday.

The Marshville Heritage Festival opens tomorrow and runs through Labour Day.
The festival features yummy food, entertainment, arts and crafts, and more.

The 73rd annual Merritton Labour Day Parade kicks off Monday at 11 am.
The parade runs from the Pen Centre to Community Park where kids can have fun on the Midway.
