MP Celina Caesar-Chavannes has just quit the Liberal caucus.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau confirmed the news to reporters on his way into the House of Commons on Wednesday.
Caesar-Chavannes is the MP for Whitby.
She has not issued a statement.
