NDP Health Critic France Gélinas has re-introduced the Act in the Ontario legislature saying it will help take people off transplant lists.
The act would change organ and tissue donation in Ontario from an opt-in system to an opt-out system.
The bill is named after the Welland MPP, who was passionate about organ donation.
