An Air Canada passenger is expected to appear in court this morning after causing a flight to be was flown back to Toronto's Pearson International Airport last night.
Peel Region police say a flight attendant was assaulted during an incident and suffered minor injuries.
The flight was bound for Budapest, Hungary and a police spokesman says he believes the plane was over Nova Scotia when it flew back.
57 year old John Svab of Hamilton, has been charged with uttering death threats, aggravated assaulted and endangering an aircraft while in flight.
He was expected to appear in court today.
