Female aviators will take to the skies this week in the 43rd annual Air Race Classic.
The race kicks off this morning in Tennessee and ends Friday in Niagara at the Dorothy Rungeling Airport.
Canada will be represented by Niagara on the Lake pilot Asti Livingston along with Susan Begg from Ottawa.
The air race pays tribute to the 1929 Women's Air Derby.
It also celebrates the only airport in Canada named after a woman.
Dorthy Rungeling was a celebrated local pilot who helped pave the way for women in aviation.
