Some intrepid female pilots are already crossing the finish line in Niagara as part of the Air Race Classic.
The team 'No Boundaries' crossed the finish line at the Dorothy Rungeling Airport yesterday afternoon followed by the team known as 'Pack Mule 12.'
Two more teams are in the area and should cross the line today.
Meanwhile, our Canadian team of Asti Livingston from Niagara-On-The-Lake and Ottawa's Susan Begg are in Wisconsin, according to the race's tracking site.
The annual all female race starts in Tennessee en route to Niagara, paying tribute to the 1929 Women's Air Derby.
Organizers hope it inspires more women to become interested in aviation.
