Despite a flurry of social media tweets and facebook comments directed at Niagara's police board and Regional Chair, no one has complained to Alan Caslin about a lucrative retirement deal given Niagara's former top cop.
The Regional Chair says not one member of the community has complained to him about the near million dollar retirement package given to former Niagara Regional Police chief Jeff McGuire.
Speaking to CKTB's Matt Holmes, Alan Caslin refused once again to go into any details about the deal.
Instead, Caslin says Bob Gale is the one that questions should be directed to.
Last week it was revealed the police services board paid McGuire more than $870,000 to retire three years early, a deal McGuire said he "simply could not refuse".
CKTB news has reached out to police board chair Bob Gale for comment.
Below is just a small sampling of twitter exchanges directed at Regional Chair Alan Caslin following stories of the Chief's retirement deal.
