Good news if you're planning to use the Peace Bridge this summer.
The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority has started the process of re-opening the third traffic lane on the bridge for the 2017 summer travel season.
All three lanes will be fully functional Thursday morning.
The bridge has been down to two lanes since last November for construction work.
It's all part of the Authority's $100 million Peace Bridge rehabilitation project to improve the 90-year-old structure.
In the fall and winter of 2017 and 2018, the lane will close again and it will be back down to two lanes.
