Almost 450 charges were laid during an OPP transport truck blitz.
Last week officers took part in an annual 24 hour initiative, 'Operation Corridor' focused on commercial vehicle drivers.
The most common charges were equipment violations, followed by speeding.
In all, 44 transports were taken out of service for various offences.
OPP officials breakdown the charges:
Equipment violations - 148
Speeding - 144
Seat belt - 44
Speed limiter - 31
Follow too close - 28
Hours of service - 24
Distracted driving - 13
Unsecured load - 11
Other hazardous moving violations - 29
