Amazon Prime members are hoping today will be better after many were greeted with a doggone mess at the start of Prime Day.
Instead of the slew of deals promised by the online retailer, many would-be shoppers saw only error messages featuring apologetic looking pups yesterday.
Most of the links were working by 4:30 p.m. as the company began to tackle the glitches during the 36-hour shopping extravaganza.
In an email to the Associated Press, Amazon representatives say customers ordered more items this year than in the same time frame last year.
Prime Day began at 3 p.m. yesterday afternoon and will end at 3 a.m. tomorrow morning.
