Police stopped more than 150 vehicles at a RIDE checkpoint in St. Catharines last night.
A total of seven drivers were asked for breath samples.
One driver registered a fail and was arrested for impaired driving.
Two other drivers were in the warning range and lost their licence for a period of 3 days.
Another driver turned around when they noticed the checkpoint. An officer nearby conducted a traffic stop to investigate and found there was a stolen licence plate on the vehicle and the driver had a suspended licence.
