This is probably not what you want to hear on a Monday morning as you find yourself delayed by one of the many road construction projects around Niagara.
But another bridge project is about to get underway causing more lane restrictions on the 406.
The MTO says vehicles heading south on Highway 406 near St. David's Road will soon be shifted to the northbound lane as work begins on the bridge over Lake Gibson.
The work is expected to begin this month and will continue through the summer into the fall.
The MTO began work in 2017 rehabilitating 10 bridges in the area of the 406 and Highway 58 interchange.
