Another incident on the 406 highway in Niagara involving an unsecured load.
OPP say no one was hurt, but car was destroyed by a fire after two mattresses flew off a truck and were hit by a vehicle.
It happened just after 10 p.m. on Monday in the southbound lanes of the 406 highway just before Woodlawn Road.
The driver of the truck did not remain at the scene but was followed by a passerby, who was able to get his plates and call the police.
Police managed to locate the driver.
Investigation revealed the driver didn't know his lost load caused a collision and police have only charged him with having an insecure load.
The incident is eerily similar to a fatal crash back on July 7th when an inflated air mattress flew off a truck hitting a group of motorcyclists travelling behind.
A 55 year old Fort Erie man lost his life in that incident.
OPP in Niagara are still investigation the incident with the air mattress and reminding the public of the dedicated tip line they set up for information.
