It looks like we will find out more about the investigation--into the investigation looking into the over-budget Burgoyne Bridge debacle.
Niagara Falls Regional Councillor Selina Volpatti, who is Chair of the Burgoyne Bridge Replacement Project Taskforce sending out an email this afternoon saying new information is coming forward at tonight's St.Catharines City Council meeting.
Last week, an allegation surfaced that the city of St.Catharines was missing emails regarding the bridge project in 2011 and 2012.
Volpatti says she has serious concerns about those missing emails.
St.Catharines City Councillor Mike Britton also voicing concerns about the missing emails while joining CKTB's Niagara In the Morning Show today.
St.Catharines Mayor Walter Sendzik called last week's allegation absurd and called it a witch hunt.
Volpatti is hoping that representatives from the City will be in attendance at the next meeting of the Taskforce to provide the Niagara Region with new information.
