Yet another pedestrian has been hit by a vehicle in Niagara.
The latest incident happened just after 10:30 this morning in Thorold.
Police say they responded to a report of a man being hit by a vehicle in the area of Baxter Cr and Capri Street.
The man was transported to a local hospital.
CKTB listeners report that the man was collecting curbside garbage at the time of the incident, but police have not confirmed.
Meantime, a 70 year old Welland man is fighting for his life after being struck by an SUV yesterday morning around 7:00 on Lincoln Street.
No charges have been laid yet against the 40 year old female driver of the vehicle.
A female pedestrian was struck while crossing the street in the McMillan Drive and Dorchester Road area of Niagara Falls yesterday afternoon around 3:00.
Police say she suffered minor injuries.
No word on any charges.
