A 42-year-old retailer is closing all 24 of its stores in Ontario by early next year.
Jean Machine says it will shutter 20 stores by the end of January and the rest by the end of February.
The apparel company will continue to operate online but there will be no exchanges permitted for purchases made since it posted the announcement of the store closures to its
Facebook page.
Jean Machine filed for bankruptcy protection in January as it faced increased competition.
Jean machine does have a store at the Pen Centre in St. Catharines.
They also have locations at Hamilton's Limeridge and Burlington's Mapleview malls.
