Last week, Hamilton's public health unit issued a warning about deadly purple heroin found in the city, now another Southern Ontario health unit is issuing the same advisory.
Public Health inĀ Haldimand Norfolk warning drug users to stay away from the drug believed to be laced with fentanyl.
The purple heroin was seized by Niagara police last month as well.
While officials aren't sure if it's any more dangerous than other drugs, they decided to issue the warning because it is so identifiable.
