Drivers waiting to use the Red Hill Valley Parkway in both directions will have to wait a bit longer.
Construction in the southbound (upbound) lanes will continue through the weekend as crews finish installing the new guiderails and complete line painting operations.
The City anticipates work on the southbound lanes will be complete on Wednesday, July 10 and the road will be re-opened beginning at 11 p.m. on Wednesday.
The final phase of the resurfacing project will begin on Thursday, July 11 and will include closures on the ramps at the south end of the RHVP at Mud Street/Stone Church Road.
It is anticipated the ramp closures will begin late in the day on Wednesday, July 10.
