We now know what April Jeffs' next move is.
The current Mayor of Wainfleet, who ran unsuccessfully in the June provincial election for the Conservatives has now been announced as the 2019 Federal Conservatives candidate.
Jeffs came in second place in the spring election with just over 18,000 votes.
The NDP's Jeff Burch won the riding with 21,000 votes.
The federal riding of Niagara Centre is currently held by Liberal Vance Badawey.
The election will be held October 21st 2019.
