Get ready for the next wave of school security.
A school board in Arkansas has debuted a new smartphone based technology which allows parents to see where their child is through an app on their phone called SafeStop.
Students are given their own I.D. cards which they scan on a small scanner while getting on and off the bus.
Parents, using an app, are notified when and where their little ones got on or off.
So if Johnny gets off at the wrong stop, his parents will know.
It will even alert parents if the bus is having mechanical issues.
