Niagara police have made an arrest following an incident in Port Colborne over the long weekend that saw three people suffer injuries.
On Saturday, around 2:30 a.m. police were called to a disturbance at the intersection of King and Charlotte streets in Port Colborne.
Upon arrival they identified three people that had suffered potentially serious injuries. Two of the three had been stabbed, the third had been assaulted.
All three were taken to hospital and treated for their injuries and later released.
NRP have arrested 29 year old Daniel Willick of Niagara Falls and charged him with a number of offences including assault with a weapon, breach of recognizance and breach of probation. In total the accused is facing 15 charges.
The accused was being held in custody for a bail hearing yesterday.
Police are still looking for witnesses to the incident, anyone with information should contact police.
