Two people have been arrested and police are still looking for a third suspect after a vehicle warming theft.

Two people have been arrested and police are still looking for a third suspect after a vehicle warming theft.

The car was reported stolen in St Catharines yesterday.

Police were called to the area of Morrison Street and Victoria Avenue in Niagara Falls later in the day after the vehicle crashed into a snow bank.

Three suspects were seen fleeing from the scene. After a brief search, police arrested two men.

Eighteen-year-old Robert Bakker and 23-year-old Rohan Chandler, both of St Catharines, are charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 .
 
Chandler is also charged with Breach of Probation.

Police are still looking for a third suspect.

He's 19-year-old Caleb Beach of Dunnville

He was already wanted on a warrant with the Niagara Regional Police Service and a second warrant is now being issued in relation to this investigation.
 
Police would like to remind citizens to be vigilant when warming their vehicles up in these cold conditions.
