An investigation into a unprovoked assault in Niagara Falls two months ago has led to a large drug seizure.
Niagara Regional Police say the assault on several people including children happened in the area of Clifton Hill back on August 4th.
Two males suspected in the assault were identified and an arrest warrant was issued.
On Thursday, police arrested one of the suspects at a home in Mississauga and found cocaine, marijuana and more than $100,000 in cash.
That led police to another residence where they seized cocaine, heroin, MDMA and marijuana.
Total value of the drugs is more than $250,000.
Police have charged the following people:
Jassem JASSEM: possession for the purpose of trafficking X3, proceeds of crime over $5000 x2, assault with a weapon x9, and possession of counterfeit currency.
Dila BATAINEH: possession for the purpose of trafficking X3, proceeds of crime over $5000 x2, breach of recognizance, and possession of counterfeit currency
Ritchard QUAST: possession for the purpose of trafficking x5, possession of proceeds of crime over $5000, and possession of counterfeit currency.
Jayson McQUEEN-BROWN: possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime over $5000, and possession of counterfeit currency.
Salloum JASSEM: assault with a weapon X9.
