The Ontario government is taking a look at the province's auto insurance system to find ways to make improvements and offer more competition.
The idea is to lower rates for drivers.
The PC government will hold public consultations with drivers, insurance companies and other stakeholders until Feb. 15.
A report from the previous Liberal government found that in 2016 Ontario had the most expensive premiums in the country.
At the same time, it had one of the lowest levels of accidents and fatalities.
