The province's automakers say they also want a break on their hydro bills.
Premier Kathleen Wynne announced yesterday that soaring electricity bills will see an average 17-percent cut this summer.
Wynne also says there will be further measures for rural and low-income customers.
But the Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers' Association says it appears to do nothing to address a climate of investment uncertainty related to the prices automakers pay for hydro.
They say Class A industrial electricity rates can be as high as two to three times higher in Ontario than in competing auto jurisdictions.
