Two people were killed and 16 others were injured, including athletes at the World Swimming Championships, when a balcony collapsed inside a nightclub in South Korea.
Hundreds of people were at the nightclub next to the athletes' village in the southern city of Gwangju when the collapse occurred overnight.
Police say two South Korean men died while 16 others were injured, including 10 foreigners.
Eight of them were athletes in Gwangju to participate in the swimming championships -- three Americans, two New Zealanders, one Dutch, one Italian and one Brazilian
Reports indicate there were no Canadians among the dead or injured.
