It's time to get rid of all those old batteries you have lying around.
Crews will be picking up used household batteries all this week - all you need to do is leave them at the curb in a clear plastic bag by 7 a.m. on your regular collection day.
Remember to put masking tape over the ends of lithium, button cell, and 9 volt batteries before you toss them in the bag.
Car batteries and leaking batteries will not be accepted.
