Niagara is in store for a beautiful weekend and if you are planning on hitting the beach there's more good news.
Only two beaches in the region have been posted as unsafe for swimming.
Nelles Beach in Grimsby and Chippawa Conservation Beach in Wainfleet have been flagged by the region as unacceptable for swimming and officials recommended that residents use another beach or stay out of the water until the posting is removed.
Beach water sampling consists of five water samples being taken at each beach.
When test results are received, they are averaged and compared to a national standard of 200 E. coli per 100 mL of water.
When results show concentrations at or above this level, the beach is posted as unsafe for swimming.
