IceDogs' third year centre Ben Jones was named OHL Player of the Week Monday. The Vegas Golden Knights draft pick scored twice and picked up five assists in three straight 'Dogs victories.
Returning from Christmas break, Jones helped set-up the tying goal in a 3-2 win in North Bay. That was followed Friday by a three point performance, including a goal, in a 7-4 victory in Sudbury. Finally New Year's Eve it was another goal and two more assists in a 7-3 home ice win over Hamilton.
Jones now sports a career high eight game point streak for the IceDogs who now hold third spot in the OHL's Eastern Conference.
