Bob Gale is staying on as Chair of the Niagara Regional Police Board.
The Regional Councillor was re-elected to serve a fourth term as Chair.
He says it is a great honour to continue serving as Chair of the Board and it's going to be another busy year they deal with unprecedented and far reaching legislative changes in how police services are delivered in Ontario.
The Canadian government is set to make marijuana legal this summer.
Gale says it will also be a year of transition for the Service as new Chief MacCulloch and his Executive Command Team work to meet the high expectations of the Board and the public.
Kenneth Gansel was re-elected to serve as Vice-Chair for a third term as well.
