Niagara Regional Police are asking for help after a body was recovered from the Welland Recreational Waterway.
A Welland youth was reported as missing on May 30th, leading to a search of the Lincoln Street Bridge where he was last seen.
Police located the body around 6:20 p.m. yesterday. An autopsy has been scheduled to help determine a cause of death.
Out of respect for the family the name of the deceased is not being released, and police want to speak with anyone who may have been in the area of the bridge on Tuesday, May 29th between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.
