A 10 year old girl and 18 year old woman were killed in a horrific shooting in Toronto.
A news conference has been held by Toronto police updating the public on the tragic shooting last night in the heart of the city's Greektown.
Chief Mark Saunders says the number of people injured in the shooting has climbed to 13, saying they range in age from 10 to 59 and have everything from minor to serious injuries.
Names of the two people who died have not been released.
Police have said the suspected gunman exchanged fire with officers and was found dead near the shooting scene.
Ontario's police watchdog is investigating his death and has only said that he is a 29-year-old man.
Saunders says police have not yet acquired information about the motive for the shooting, which took place at around 10 p.m. Sunday on a bustling stretch of Danforth Avenue.
