Niagara Region Public Health is reporting 21 new cases of COVID-19 in the region.
That is the highest single-day increase since June 3rd, when Niagara had 40 new cases in one day.
NRPH is also reporting Niagara now has 8 active outbreaks of the virus, and 81 active cases.
Niagara on the Lake now has the most active cases of the virus, followed closely by Lincoln, and then Niagara Falls.
