Niagara Regional Police say they have arrested five youths and one adult following a violent incident that was caught on camera in downtown St.Catharines.
It happened back on April 22nd when a man was struck with a bat and kicked while on the ground by a group of suspects on the pathway behind the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts.
Police released surveillance images of the crime and asked the public for help identifying the suspects and the victim.
The NRP have now arrested five youths and one adult in the case.
Search warrants were executed by members of the Detective Office and evidence was gathered.
18 year old Raymond Leblanc from Lincoln is charged with robbery, disguise with intent, and use of a stolen credit card.
Also charged were two females, aged 15 and 17 and three males aged 16 and 17.
They cannot be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
All suspects will appear for a bail hearing today.
