Human remains have been discovered in the Welland Canal in St.Catharines.
Officers have been searching the canal between Lock one and Lock two looking for missing teen, Quintin Bingley.
Niagara Regional Police confirm they have located human remains.
At this time, the remains are unidentifiable.
Detectives will be working with the office of the coroner.
Uniform officers will remain at the scene for the next several hours and possibility overnight as the investigation continues.
Niagara Regional Police announced yesterday that they would be searching the canal for any signs of Bingley who has been missing since last spring.
The 18 year old, who was set to graduate from Governor Simcoe High School was last seen by friends after being dropped off at his home on May 25th at around 11:30 pm.
