Mike Strange, Niagara Falls City Councillor and former Olympic boxer is running in the upcoming federal election.
He broke the news on the Niagara Sports Report with Rod Mawhood this morning.
Strange says he's running as an independent.
He tells Rod Mawhood he's not running for a big party because he feels people are sick of party politics.
