We now know who will be the Niagara Region's next Police Chief.
The NRP announcing today that Acting Chief of Police, Deputy Chief Bryan MacCulloch will take over the position of Niagara's top cop.
MacCulloch, who has been in his position since 2013 and has been a member of the NRP for more than 30 years.
In addition, Brett Flynn has been appointed to the position of Deputy Chief of Police.
Flynn will replace the position that was previously held by Chief MacCulloch.
Former Niagara Regional Police Chief Jeff McGuire announced that he would be stepping down in July.
McGuire served as Niagara’s eighth chief of police from 2012-2017.
The official swearing in ceremony is set for Friday, October 27, 2017 at Club Italia, 2525 Montrose Road in Niagara Falls.
The public is invited to attend the Swearing-In Ceremony at 2:00 pm.
An Introduction Ceremony for Deputy Chief of Police Brett Flynn will take place at a date and time to be announced.
