BREAKING | Plane crash in Cuba
Cuban media say a Boeing 737 operated by state airline Cubana has crashed on takeoff from Jose Marti International Airport in Havana with 104 passengers on board. There was no immediate word on casualties.
A CBS reporter on the ground near a plane crash in Havana reports that there is very little left of the plane and it appears it "vaporized"
The plane that crashed landed in a nearby field.
There were earlier reports it landed in the rear of a high school.
The domestic flight had 113 people on board.
It was rented by Cubana Air and operated 'Blue Panorama' - an Italian carrier.
The plane was en route from Havana to Holguin....on the east side of Cuba
