A new development in the case of a violent shooting in St.Catharines last week.
Police releasing new information today that they believe only one shooter is responsible for the shooting inside a home at Church and Niagara Streets at 3:45pm Thursday afternoon which sent 3 men to hospital.
At first officers were looking for two men, both black in the 20's but now police say one person is responsible.
The lone suspect is described as a black male, late teens to early 20s, 5'9, short hair, clean shaven, earrings, with a very slim build.
He was wearing a black and white hoodie with small white writing on the left chest area and white writing down middle of back with white and grey on the arms of the sweatshirt.
He was wearing black pants with white writing on the lower right leg and white and black running shoes.
He was carrying a bag on his shoulder.
Detectives do not believe that this was a random attack.

The shooting last week sparked a massive police response to various areas.
Some local streets were shut down and police kept residents out of their homes for hours while investigators combed the area.
All three victims are listed in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery.
