The President of Ontario's PC Party has stepped down.
Former St.Catharines Conservative MP Rick Dykstra making the announcement on Twitter Sunday night.
Dykstra issued the short write-up saying he was moving on.
He served as President just shy of two years.
In 2016, following Tim HudaK’s departure, Dykstra ran for the nomination of the PC party in the riding of Niagara West - Glanbrook but lost to Sam Oosterhoff, who went on to become the MPP.
Dykstra's announcement comes as a number of PC party team members step down following Patrick Brown's resignation late last week amid sexual misconduct allegations.
Brown denies the accusations.
