CN Rail operations will be returning to normal tomorrow morning as a tentative agreement has been reached.
The union representing 3,000 conductors, train-persons, and yard workers says normal operations will resume at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning.
"I am pleased to announce that we’ve reached a tentative agreement with CN. I would like to thank our members for their incredible courage and solidarity," the president of Teamsters Canada, François Laporte says via a release. "I would also like to thank all the Teamster local unions from across different industries, all the labour organizations and members of the public who supported us on the picket line."
Union meetings will be held across the country over the next few months to explain the terms of the agreement to members ahead of a ratification vote.
News of the deal ends a week long strike.
