Two Hamilton paramedics charged criminally for failing to provide necessaries of life in the Dec. 2017 shooting death of Yosif Al-Hasnawi have been fired.
They had been charged criminally, after the 19 year-old was shot while trying to help someone outside his mosque
Witnesses alleged the paramedics took too long to treat Al-Hasnawi and transport him to hospital claiming they accused the teen of acting like his wounds were worse than they were.
Niagara police conducted a lengthy investigation into the incident.
The charges are the first of their kind in Ontario.
