The community will be coming together tonight after two recent public suicides.
It was a week ago Thursday night that 19-year-old Tanner Unger died as the result of suicide at the Burgoyne Bridge and then last Wednesday morning a 43-year-old St.Catharines man also died by jumping off the bridge onto the 406 below.
610 CKTB is hosting a special Broadcast, "Bridge of Hope," from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m tonight, starting with a moment of silence.
Host Tim Denis will be speaking with mental health professionals and hear from a friend of the 43-year-old man who took his own life.
A candlelight vigil is also planned at the bridge this evening at 7 p.m.
