The Town of Lincoln is one of the communities highlighted in Brock University's new research project on climate change.
Researchers from Brock will be examining how coastal communities deal with the impacts of climate change, including here in Niagara.
Locally, the project received a grant worth $280,000 from the Marine Environmental Observation Prediction and Response Network.
Any Lincoln residents interested in taking part are invited to the Fleming Centre on Thursday night from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. to learn more.
Officials say the town suffered around one million dollars in damage after massive flooding from Lake Ontario in the spring of 2017.
