Brock University is teaming up with Niagara Regional Police ahead of Halloween to remind students to keep 'The Bad Out of Badger.'
Residents in St. Catharines and Throld may have noticed extra patrols in off-campus student housing areas over the weekend as some people decided to kick off Halloween early.
On Wednesday, officers and campus security will be patrolling the neighbourhoods again between 8 p.m. and 3 a.m. to keep an eye on student parties.
Representatives from the school's 'Don't Put the Bad in Badger' campaign have also been spreading awareness through posters, information booths, and neighbourhood visits.
This also marks another year of 'Trick or Eat.' Brock Student Life and Community Experience staff and bylaw officers have distributed empty bags throughout neighbourhoods around the University.
On Halloween students will collect the bags filled with donations for Community Care.
